Mrs. Raymond Paris of Spencer died suddenly at the Putnam County Hospital this morning at 8:15 o’clock just as she was preparing to leave the hospital for her home. Mr. Paris was to come from Spencer and take her home and was just ready to leave when notified that her condition was critical. Death was caused by a blood clot. Mrs. Paris entered the hospital on Christmas Day and underwent a Caesarean operation giving birth to a daughter. She was 29 years of age and was formerly Frances B. Grable, the daughter of James Monroe Grable of Brazil. Sincer her marriage to Mr. Paris who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Paris who reside south of Greencastle on RR 7 she has resided at Spencer where Mr. Paris is connected with the Wabash Valley Electric company. Surviving is the husband, the infant daughter, Alpha Rae, the father, three brothers: Ross of Cleaveland, Ohio; Ralph of Pontiac, Mich; Monroe of Detroit, Mich and a sister, Ruth at home. The body will be sent to Brazil tonight and funeral services will be held there either Saturday or Sunday. ~~~transcribed by kbz

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances R. Paris, wife of Raymond Paris of Spencer who died at the Putnam County Hospital Thursday morning will be held Sunday at 2 o’clock at the home of Mrs. Paris’ father, James Monroe, 1120 west National Avenue at Brazil. Interment will be in the cemetery north of Brazil. The body was sent to Brazil today. ~~~transcribed by kbz
