Funeral services were held Monday at the residence of her son, WIlliam Foreman, E. Pinckley Street Road, for Mrs. Mary E. Palm, widow of Charles L. Palm. Mrs. Palm died Friday night at the age of 69 years, eight months and 21 days after an illness of three years. She was held in high esteem in the community where she resided. Surviving are two sons, William Foreman, of E. Pinckley Street road, and Stanley Palm, of Brazil; also five grandchildren, two brothers and a sister, William Johnson, of Brazil and Henry Johnson, of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Alma Dodson, of Brazil, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Miller & Sons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mary E. Palm, widow of Charles L. Palm, died at 9:30 o'clock Friday night at the home of her son, William Foreman, on the East Pinckley Street Road in Putnam County, of complications, at the age of 69 years, eight months and 21 days. Death followed an illness of three years, the past two weeks of which confined her to her bed.
Mrs. Palm was born in eastern Clay County, a daughter of Oliver Bryson and Matilda (McCullough) Johnson, who were early residents of the community. Her entire life had been spent in that vicinity and she enjoyed the esteem of many neighbors and friends.
Mrs. Palm is survived by two sons, William Foreman, of Putnam County, and Stanley Palm, of Brazil; also five grandchildren, two brothers and a sister, William Johnson, of Brazil, and Henry Johnson, of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Alma Dobson, of Brazil, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The body was prepared for burial at Miller & Sons' funeral home and will be returned Sunday morning to the residence of Wm. Foreman, where funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning, interment McCullough Cemetery.
