Charles L. Palm, retired farmer, died Monday afternoon at his home at Knightsville after an illness of two years of complications, at the age of 86 years and one month. Mr. Palm was born in PA but came to IN with his parents when a young man and settled in Jackson Twp., where the deceased had followed farming for many years. Since his retirement from active farming two years ago he had made his home in Knightsville. Mr. Palm is survived by the widow, Jrs. Mary E. Palm; one son, Stanley Palm, city, and a step-son, William Foreman of Putnam County; also a sister, Mrs. Jemima Riddell, city, and five grandchildren. He was an uncle of the late Dr. William Palm.
The remains were prepared for burial at Lawson & Son's funeral home and will be returned this evening to the home of Knightsville, where short funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, followed by services at the Wesley Chapel ?? rest not readable
