Charles W. OWENS, 65, resident of this place for the past 45 years, died at his home here at 8:30 Saturday morning. Death was due to a complication of diseases and followed an illness of about one year. T he deceased was born near Waveland Feb 28, 1866 the son of James and Sophia Owens. He was united in marriage Jan 15, 1891 to Miss Minnie GROVES. Mr. Owens was a member of the Russellville Methodist Church. He had been a barber for the past 37 years. The surviving are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Inez Owens; one son, Eugene Owens; two sisters, Mrs. OP Thomas and Mrs. James Booker and a brother, DW Owens. The parents and one brother preceded him in death. The funeral services will be held at the home in Russellville Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. HA Davis, of Indianapolis. Burial in Russellville Cemetery.
