Greencastle, Ind – Dr. O.F. Overstreet, 92-year-old retired Greencastle dentist, died yesterday in Putnam County Hospital. Born in Johnson County, Dr. Overstreet was graduated from DePauw University and the old Indiana Dental College. He retired in 1938 after practicing 48 years. Dr. Overstreet, his father, Dr. W.G. Overstreet and his son, Dr. Ralph Overstreet of Evansville, had practiced here a combined total of 115 years. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Whitaker Funeral Home at Greencastle, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. – transcribed by kbz
