OVERALL, Almira Rouse - Putnam

Peoria, March 17 – Mrs. Almira Rouse Overall died today at 4:30 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John E. Keene, 101 Roanoke Avenue after a prolonged illness. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Rouse and was born in Putnam County, Indiana. At an early age she moved with her parents to Ottumwa, Iowa where she grew to womanhood and in 1858 was united in marriage with James G. Overall and soon after came to Lewistown, Ill where Mr. Overall died in 1875.  To them were born four children, two daughters and two sons, the older daughter, Mrs. John E. Keened of this city whom whom Mrs. Overall has lived for the past 21 years; the second daughter, Mrs. SC Burbridge, of San Antonio, Tex who was present at her mother’s death; the older son, Walter H, died in Peoria in 1876 and the younger son, Charles A resides in Boston, Mass. (1837-1915 buried Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown) - kbz
