OLIVER, Virginia - Putnam

Greencastle, Ind – Mrs. Virginia Oliver, 47, daughter of Samuel R. Rariden, editor and publisher of the Greencastle Daily Banner died Sunday after a year’s illness. Mrs. Oliver had been active in the newspaper operation for more than 25 years. Her husband, James, is advertising manager of the Banner.  A sister, Miss Elizabeth Rariden of Greencastle also survives. - kbz
