Oliver, Mattie - Putnam

Mattie S. Oliver  age 77 years, widow of R. S. Oliver passed away Sunday, August 30, at the Putnam County Hospital.  On Wednesday Mrs. Oliver suffered fractured hip and arm in a fall at her farm. Her husband passed away just 35 years ago on August 29 Rev. Edwin Dunlavy, a nephew of the deceased, will be In charge of the funeral services to be held Wednesday morning, September 2 at 10 o'clock at the Methodist church in j Fillmore. Burial will be in the Fillmore cemetery. Survivors include the children. Kate, Mary and William Oliver, Mrs. Ruth Ragan and Mrs. Inez Pruitt and four grandchildren, Robert and Jean Ragan and Richard and Judith Pruitt. A sister. Mrs. Louise Sinclair lives in Fillmore.
