OGG, Robert A. - Putnam

Robert A. Ogg, died late Tuesday afternoon at his home at 703 South Locust , Greencastle. He was born December 14, 1848 at Summerfield, Ohio. When he was a young boy his parents, brothers and sisters moved in a wagon from Summerfield to the vicinity of Green Co., Indiana. He married at Mitchell, Indiana to Louise H. Hutcheson, January 25, 1877. She was the daughter of Rev. F. A. Hutcheson who was at the time the presiding elder of the Mitchell district M.E. church. They were the parents of two children, both of whom died in early life. He was the brother of W. R. Ogg, who lived west of Greencastle, Albert B. Ogg, of Montana and Charles B. Ogg of Lyons are also brothers. Sisters are; Axtell and Miss. Elizabeth Ogg of Bloomfield. Joseph S. Logan of Muncie and Frank Logan of Mt. Vernon, Illinois are nephews of Mrs. Ogg. Nieces of Mrs. Ogg who have been with her and Mr. Ogg through his prolonged illness are Mrs. Grace Westfall and Mrs. Earl Taylor of Bloomington and Mrs. Homer Stillwell of Evansville.
