Greencastle, May 17 – One man is dead and two persons are suffering from injuries as the result of three accidents here Saturday night. Sylvester G. O’Hair age 75 was fatally injured when an automobile drive by Charles K. Hall struck him as he was walking in the north part of the city. He suffered a broken leg and internal injuries and died before medical aid reached him.  Mr. O’Hair was a member of a prominent Putnam County family.  He is survived by several children. One brother, Robert L. O’Hair, is president of the Central National Bank and another brother, Henry O’Hair is city marshall.  Late Saturday night, Edward Braden, a young man living north of the city was badly hurt about the head when his buggy was demolished by an automobile. Miss Ruth Allen, who was attending a Red Men’s dance fell down a long flight of stairs. She suffered a concussion of the brain and was unconscious for several hours. Her condition is not regarded as serious. - kbz
