Mrs. Luvella Nichols, 80, of 1201
Salem Avenue, died 12:40 am Sunday at
her home, after an illness of one year. Mrs. Nichols was born in Putnam County
and married Harry Nichols in 1886. She
had moved to Lafayette four years ago. Surviving are her husband; a daughter,
Mrs. John Underwood, Coatsville; four sons, Clifford and Dally, both of
Indianapolis; Wilbur and Warren, Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Hazel,
Monon and Mrs. Belle Sharpe, Bellmore, and four brothers Thomas, Ladoga; Omer,
Roachdale, James, Lafayette and Benjamin, Covington, Ky. The body was taken to
the Hippensteel Funeral Home. Rev. O.I.
Uncapher officiating; burial in Blakesburg Cemetery, near Fincastle. - kbz
