NEWTON, Clyde

Newton, Clyde Raymond, aged 31, died Tuesday at the Indiana T.B. Sanitarium at Rockville, where he had been ill for the last six months.  He was born 8 July 1913, in Putnam County, the son of Delbert and Elizabeth Newton. His entire life had been spent in farming. He attended school at Roachdale, where he was well known. Besides the parents, the survivors include, two brothers, PFC. Eugene Newton, U.S. Army in Italy, and Ralph E., at home; six sisters; Mrs. Dee Doran, Russellville, D.R. Higman, Lafayette,  Mrs. Ralph Pruitt, Taylorsville, Kentucky, Mrs. William Gough, Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Victor Carpenter, North Salem, and Mrs. Roy Wagoner, Lafayette, Indiana. An Uncle, Harry Newton, Roachdale.  Burial was made in the Roachdale Cemetery. - mw
