NEWGENT, Thomas - Putnam

Thomas Newgent, age 52 years, prominent farmer of Clinton township died at his home Sunday night about 9:30 o’clock after an 8-months illness of a complication of diseases.  Funeral services will be held from the Clinton Falls MP (ME?) Church, Tuesday morning at 10:30 o’clock conducted by the Rev. Cornelius Airhart of Crawfordsville. Interment will be in the Dunkard Cemetery in Clinton Township. Besides the widow Mr. Newgent is survived by 9 children. Two brothers Warren and John Newgent of Clinton Township and one sister, Mrs. John Madkon of Morton also survive. - kbz
