Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Marguriete Wiatt, Greencastle; three sons, Charles Newgent, El Monte, Cal, the Rev. Leland Newgent, Boonville, Miss and Rev. Larry Newgent, St. Louis, Mo; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Ford, Crawfordsville eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. - kbz
Mrs. Flora Bledsoe Newgent, 78, died today at her home, 902 N. Pennsylvania. Born in Boone County, Mrs. Newgent had lived here 41 years. Her husband, Oscar Newgent, died 34 years ago. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Hisey & Titus Mortuary here with the Rev. Woodie Shields, Arcadia, officiating. Burial will be 3 p.m. at Roachdale.
