NEILD, James - Putnam

GREENCASTLE – James Neild, 42, of Rt. 4, Greencastle, died Thursday in Putnam County Hospital after an illness of a few months. Mr. Neild was an employee of McLean Trucking Co. at Indianapolis. He was a member of Elwood Friends Church at Georgetown, Ill.; Russell Lodge F & AM at Georgetown; Gao Grotto at Danville, Ill.; and Scottish Rite at Danville. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was born Dec. 16, 1933, at Georgetown. Surviving are his wife, Margaret; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Neild of Rt. 2, Rockville; a son, David, at home; a brother, Norman of rural Rockville; a sister, Mrs. Sally Blythe of Gurnee, Ill.; and a niece and nephew. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Tudor-Herrick Funeral Home at Rockville with the Rev. Albert Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery at Hollandsburg.
