NEESE, Mary Broyer - Putnam

Mary S. Neese, 95 of Greencastle died from natural causes July 27, 1997 at Greencastle Care Center in that city. She was a former resident of Quincy RR 1 and Pargon. Born Jan 12, 1902 in Morgan County she was the daughter of Alfred and Cora Dollens Broyer.   She married Walter R. Neese Jan 21, 1921.  He died Dec 8, 1985.  Mrs. Neese was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Branneman of Greencastle; a son, Archie Neese of Inverness, Fla; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Her parents, a son, Wendell Lee Neese; and a daughter, Mildred Pauline Neese also preceded her in death.  Her service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. The Rev. Paul Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Cloverdale cemetery.  Friends may call from 12 noon to 2 pm. Thursday at the funeral home. - kbz
