McOUATT, William - CW - Putnam

Wm. McOuattt, an old veteran, residing in Cloverdale, died suddenly Monday evening of pneumonia. He was a native of Scotland but had resided many years in Owen and Putnam Counties. An aged widow and several children survive him.  He attended the recent GAR grand encampment at Washington and returned worn out and suffering from a severe cold, but reported a most enjoyable time with his old comrades. He was interred Tuesday with Grand Army honors.
