Died in Tippecanoe County on Feb 26, 1894
after a long and trying sickness, Noah McGrew son of John McGrew of this city.
The remains were brought her eon Tuesday and taken to the residence of his
sister, Mrs. WJ Ashton where they lay until the funeral, which took place on
Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock, the services being attended by a delegation
from Brazil Lodge of the Knights of Pythias, of which order the deceased was a
member, Rev. Bills of this city conducted the funeral services. He was also a
member of the Brotherhood of Railway Conductors and a delegation from both
these orders accompanied the remains from Lafayette to this city. - kbz
