Roachdale – Mrs. Nellie Thompson
McGaughey, 85 of Rt 1, died Friday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. She had
been hospitalized the past two weeks. Born in Parke County, Mrs. McGaughey was
a school teacher and member of Roachdale Christian Church. She is survived by
her husband, Ora McGaughey; a son, Morris McGaughey of Ladoga; two daughters,
Mrs. Della Davis of Kirklin and Mrs. Doris Chamberland of Portland, Ore, and
two brothers, Homar Thompson of Bellmore and Arthur Thompson of Indianapolis.
Services and burial were this afternoon at Roachdale and Russellville. – kbz
