McGAUGHEY, J.G. (Rev) - Putnam

Funeral services for the Rev. JG McGaughey, Roachdale retired Disciples of Christ minister and former Indianapolis resident will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Roachdale Christian Church.  Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis. The Rev. Mr. McGaughey died Friday in Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle after a brief illness. He was 83 years old. He resided in Indianapolis from 1890 to 1920 and assisted in the organization of the Fairfax Christian Church. He also had churches at Bicknell, Linton, Daleville, St. Paul, Clarksburg and Robinson, Ill. Born at Russellville, he had resided at Roachdale the last 10 years.  Survivors include the widow, Ella McGaughey, two son, RL and WO McGaughey, both of Indianapolis, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
