McFERRAN, Charles - Putnam

Funeral services for Charles McFerran, 68, a member of the Putnam County Council, were held at Bainbridge Methodist church Tuesday afternoon. Burial was made in Roachdale cemetery. Mr. McFerran was found dead in the barn lot of his home southeast of here by Mrs. McFerran early Sunday morning. Death was attributed to heart failure. He had been in failing health for several years. Mr. McFerran was born near here August 8, 1971, a son of John and Hulda Perkins McFerran. He was married November 8, 1893 to Florence Coffman, who survives. Other survivors include a brother Henry McFerran of Clayton and a sister Mrs. Minnie Johnston of near Lizton   --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker who so graciously donated her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated!!
