McELROY, Frederick Hugh - Putnam

Frederick Hugh McElroy, 61 died late Thursday afternoon in his home, 1501 Main Street.  He had been ill two weeks.  Born in Putnam County he was formerly employed by Borden’s dairy here. For the past year and a half, he had worked for the Rose Glen dairy.  His wife, Myrtle (Alter) McElroy died April 26, 1951.  He was a member of the Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge 123.  Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Charles Loy of Lafayette and brother, Henry C.
