Flossie McCullough died Friday at
Franklin United Methodist Home where she was a resident. Born in Putnam County,
she was the daughter of William and Bessie (Scott) Finney. She was married to
Oscar McCullough who died in 1968. She moved to Franklin in 1973. A retired
educator, she worked as a teacher and principal for 36 years in Putnam County
schools. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge and
Boston and Veronica Club for which she was past matron, past district deputy
and past district president. Graveside
services were conducted today at Cloverdale Cemetery with arrangements made by
Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home, Franklin.
Mrs. McCullough is survived by a sister, Mrs. M. McCullough, Franklin.
She was preceded in death by two brothers. - kbz
