Ray H. McClure, 68, Cloverdale passed
away in the Putnam County Hospital at 5:35 p.m. Thursday. He was born in Putnam County July 26, 1897
the son of Sam and Luretha Hubbard McClure. The deceased was employed at
Westinghouse 20 years. He was married to Ethel Cummings Oct 17, 1917 and was a
member of the West unity Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife; a son,
Curtis Lee, Cloverdale, R1; a daughter, Mrs. Nina Minks, Indianapolis; three
sisters, Mrs. Lee Rissler, Reelsville; Mrs. Daphne Stilz and Miss Byrl McClure,
both of Indianapolis and 7 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Whitaker Funeral Home in
Cloverdale with Bro. Lowell Barr in charge. Burial will be in the Cloverdale
Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 this evening. - kbz
