McCLOUD, Retta Pinkerton - Putnam

Roachdale- Mrs. Retta May McCloud, 68, lifelong resident of the Roachdale area, died at 9:35 am Wednesday in Putnam Co Hospital at Greencastle. She had been in failing health the past two years. Born October 26 1897 in Indiana, she was a daughter of John and Mary Pinkerton. She married Edgar McCloud on December 11, 1931 in Crawfordsville. Mrs. McCloud was a member of the Barnard Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Betty Ruth Abney of Ladoga, and Mrs. Margaret Williams of Roachdale; an aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth Henry of Indianapolis, seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3 Pm Saturday here at Perkins Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. – thanks very much to MW for this one
