McCLOUD, Levi - Putnam

Levi McCloud, 69, died at the Long hospital at Indianapolis at 9:15 Saturday night. He had been ill for 10 days and death was due to Tetanus. Mr. McCloud was born 25 Feb 1877, in Putnam Co and was the son of David and Sarah Eggers McCloud. He married Anna Merritt in 1899. He was a member of the Roachdale Methodist Church and was a veteran of the Spanish American War. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Warren McCloud of Roachdale, Richard McCloud and Lawrence McCloud both of Indianapolis; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Whitaker of Roachdale, Mrs. Elsie Pence and Mrs. Fannie Jones, both of Indianapolis.; a brother Edgar McCloud of Roachdale; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Dickerson of Eminence; a half sister, Mrs. Nancy Mitchell of Indianapolis and 16 Grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Chastain Funeral Home at Roachdale at 2'Oclock Monday afternoon. with Rev. Leonard Wymore in charge. Burial was in the Roachdale Cemetery.  – thanks muches to mw
