Ladoga - Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Fern Pence, 54, of Rt. 2, Ladoga, who died Sunday afternoon of injuries from an automobile accident Saturday will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Roachdale at the Perkins Funeral Home. Mrs. Pence was born Oct 16, 1912, at Pittsboro the daughter of Levi McCloud and Anna Merriott McCloud. She was married to Leonard G. Pence July 9, 1933 at Ladoga. The deceased was a member of the Methodisdt Church. Surviving in addition to the husband are 3 sons, Robert Eugene Pence of Richmond, Lloyd Gilbert Pence of Indianapolis and Leonard Pence, Jr. of Bridgeport, a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn June Wilson of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Lawrence McCloud of Phoenix, Warren McCloud of near Roachdale; and Richard McCloud of Portland, Ind; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Jones of Indianpaolis and Miss Doris McCloud of Roachdale and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the mortuary after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in Roachdale Cemetery.
