McCLOUD, Anna Merritt - Putnam

Roachdale, Mrs. Anna Louettie McCloud, a resident of here the past 50 years, died Sunday Evening at the Ball Nursing Home in Rockville, she had been ill since April. She was born Dec 6, 1880, to John and Lydia Lamb Merritt. She married Levi McCloud in Pittsboro. Survivors include Three sons, Lawrence of Phoenix, Arizona; Warren of Russellville, and Richard of Portland; three daughters, Mrs Fannie Jones of Indianapolis, Mrs. Elsie Pence of Ladoga and Mrs. Doris McCloud of Roachadale; Two Brothers, Charles and John both of Pittsboro; a Sister Mrs. Janie Maden of Rockville; 23 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son. Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Perkins Funeral Home in Roachdale. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery.
