MURRAY, Bert - Putnam

Bert MURRAY of Russellville well known here, died in Culver Hospital Sunday afternoon. An operation for appendicitis was performed on Friday. He was the son of John W. and Sarah Murray and was born near Browns Valley march 24, 1886. He married Miss Irene BARTON March 24, 1909. They had two children, Maxine and Russell. He was a member of the Federated Church and Knights of Pythias. F or several years he has been serving as game warden and was very efficient. A number of game wardens attended the funeral in uniform.   -- transcribed by kbz
