MORGAN, Cena Brothers - Putnam

Cena B. Brothers Morgan, 82, Greencastle, a former Indianapolis resident and retired Shortridge HS teacher, died Monday in Greencastle Nursing Home. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Asbury Towers Retirement Home, with calling from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday in Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle. Mrs. Morgan taught at Shortridge for 22 years retiring in 1967. She was a member of First Christian Church, Washburn Chapter DAR, Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Women’s Club and Progress History Club all in Greencastle. She was a 1925 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of DePauw University and received her master’s degree from Indiana University in 1947. She was born in Greencastle. Survivors, son David Clay Morgan; two grandchildren.
