Official lists of Indiana’s soldiers who have died in the ware are not obtainable, either at Washington or elsewhere. The following names have been compiled from a thorough examination of files of daily newspapers and if there are errors or omissions it is due to the fact that records in the War Department have not yet been segregated into states so as to be quickly available….

Ralph D. Boone, Greencastle, died in action, July 21, 1918
Paul Grimes, Greencastle, died in action June 14, 1918
Corporal Harry R. Moore, Greencastle, died in service July 31, 1918.
