Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ida wife of Albert Moore, 108 Cherry ? (? erry) Street well knon lock __ who died Saturday were Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Rector Funeral Home. The Rev Cecil Fellers pastor of the Christian Church officiated. Interment was in Forest Hill cemetery. Pall bearers were Jack Coffey, C. ?ley; James Buchanan, Jasper Earl Hamm and Glenn Fitz?. Flower bearers included Mrs. Harold Edwards; Mrs. Cecil ?; Mrs. Fred Pease; Mrs. George ?; Mrs. Cecil Barnett and Mrs ? Grimes all members of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Moore died Saturday evening at 6 o’clock at the Putnam County .. following a three weeks illness. She was born at Brookson on __, 1869, the daughter of John and Alice Hodgin and was united in marriage to Mr. Moore on Dec 26, __. She had spent most of her life in Putnam County. The deceased was one of Greencastle’s best known women because of affiliation with many local organizations. She was a member of Limedale Methodist Church, Mary Washington Club, American Legion Auxilary, Order of Eastern Star Section Four of the Christian .. August Birthday Club and Mt. Olive Foreign Missionary Club. Mrs. Moore was very active in the organizations. Mrs. Moore widely known here and was noted for her many acts of kindness and constant thoughtfulness for others. Her passing is a matter of regret to the entire community and come as a decided shock. Survivors are the husband, one __ lgan Moore, two grandsons, __ and Jack Moore of this city. Several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Ivan Miller of Battleground. A son and daughter have preceded her in death.
