MOORE, Ruth King - Putnam

Linton – Ruth L. Moore, 88 of Linton died Friday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born Jan 30, 1904 in Greencastle she was the daughter of Frank and Louise King. She was a homemaker and attended St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton.  Survivors include one son, Larry Moore of Evansville; three daughters, Marilyn Dickerson of Linton, Shirley Ferree of Brownsburg and Wanda Davis of Avon; one sister, Dorothy White of Reelsville; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lawrence Moore in 1970; one daughter, Vivian Hill; four brothers, Frank, Charles, Harry and Albert King and one sister, Ruby.  Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton with Father Hilary Vieck officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call 2-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
