MONTGOMERY, James A. - 1940 - Putnam

Funeral services for James A. Montgomery, 78, who did at his home east of Bainbridge Monday evening were held at Seymour this afternoon with burial at Riverview cemetery near that place. Death was caused by a heart attack. Mrs. Montgomery was the father of Mrs. Lloyd Summers of near New Maysville. Other survivors are the widow, another daughter Mrs. Erma Williams of near Williams, Indiana, a sister; Mrs. Mary Billings of Indianapolis, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren   --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated.
