MITCHELL, Effie - Putnam

Mitchell, Effie, 65, took her own life sometime Friday at her farm home on the Airport Road. Despondent over the death of her husband last March. Death was caused by a rifle shot through the heart. A note was found near the body indicating she had been despondent over the husband’s death which occurred March 28th. Survivors are three sisters; Mrs. Lawrence Darnall of Indianapolis, Mrs. Pearl Risk and Miss Ida Risk both of Roachdale; three brothers, Albert Risk of Roachdale, Henry and Joe both of Danville, Illinois.  Internment was in the Brick Chapel Cemetery.
