MILLER, Sarah Ellen Morphew - Putnam

Ladoga, June 10

Sarah Ellen Miller, aged 72, wife of Lou (sic - Lewis) Miller, died at 6 o'clock Saturday evening at her home 3 1/2 miles southeast of Ladoga, following an illness of 3 months. Mrs. Miller was born in Hendricks County Feb 20, 1862, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Morphew. She was married to Mr. Miller Feb 4, 1880. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Surviving are the husabnd, 3 sons James of New Maysville, Ott at home and Arch of Jamestown; two daughters, Mrs. Frank harris and Mrs. Clayton Mahorney; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Kitty Hoosier of Indianapolis and Mrs. Charles Eggers of Burlington, Ind and a brother, Ethridege Morphew of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Miller home with the Rev. CL Airhart of New Market officiating. Burial in the Harshberger cemetery north of Ladoga.
