MILLER, Lela Scott - Putnam

Browns Valley -- Mrs. Lela SCOTT MILLER, 75, died Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Culver Hospital. She had been ill for a week. Mrs. Miller was born May 25, 1875 in Parke County the daughter of Samuel & Elizabeth NOBLE SCOTT She was married to Robert Miller August 10, 1892. Mr. Miller survives. She was a member of the Browns Valley Christian Church. Other survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Lucille EVERMAN, Russellville; Mrs. Mary TIMMONS, Darlington and Mrs. Evelyn CHRISTY, New Market; four sons, Hubert, Roachdale; Noble, Crawfordsville, Frank, Browns Valley, and Earl at home; 14 grandchildren; two step grandsons and four geat grandchildren. One son died in infancy. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Browns Valley Christian Church. Burial will be in the family lot in the Russellville Cemetery The body will lie in state one hour preceding the funeral. Friends may call at the home one mi. north of Browns Valley on St. Rd. 47 after 6 p.m. Friday   --- transcribed by kbz
