ROACHDALE – Harry R. Miller, 66, a past master of the Roachdale Masonic Lodge, died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home. He had been in failing health for an extended period. Before ill health forced his retirement, Mr. Miller was employed by the Putnam County Highway Department and also farmed. He was a member of the North Salem Christian Church. His wife, the former Margadean Martz, survives. The couple were married on April 18, 1943, in Crawfordsville. Born on April 1, 1903, in Montgomery County, he was the son of George L. and Pearl Barnes Miller. Surviving besides the widow are a daughter who lives at home; his mother of Crawfordsville; a sister. Mrs. Margaret Tapp of Roachdale, and several cousins. Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Perkins Funeral Home at Roachdale with Revs. Ray Britton and Herbert Wilson in charge.
