MILLER, Daniel Boone - Putnam

Daniel Boone Miller, 82, aged citizen of Putnam County died Sunday morning at 2:30 o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harvey Bettis, 101 W Liberty Street.  He has been very ill for the past two weeks and was suffering from infirmities of advanced age.  He has always been a resident of Putnam and Parke County.  He is survived by eight children: Mrs. William Cunningham of Muncie; Sylvester Miller of Mississippi; Mrs. Arthur Ragle, Mrs. Sarah Bettis, Mrs. Harvey Bettis and Mrs. William Alspaugh of this city; Arthur Miller, Brazil and Mrs. Bert Roe of Barnard.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at McCurry Funeral Home with Rev. McKeehan in charge. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery. – kbz
