LADOGA – Clyde E. Miller, 88, of Greencastle, formerly of Ladoga, died Wednesday morning in Putnam County Hospital. Mr. Miller retired in 1965 from Farm Bureau Lumber Co. He was a member of Ladoga First Christian Church and a 50-year member of Ladoga Masonic Lodge. He was past worthy patron of Order of the Eastern Star of Ladoga. He was born Sept. 7, 1891, at Ladoga, a son of Frank and Nettie Barnes Miller. He was a graduate of Indiana Business College and a veteran of World War I. Survivors are the wife, Mattie; a son, Ralph of Greencastle; a daughter, Rhea Jolley of North Carolina; a brother, Frank of Greencastle; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harley. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home at Greencastle with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery at Greencastle. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-9 p.m. today. – jlr
