MILLER, C. Lorene - Putnam

C. Lorene Miller, 95, of Lafayette died Friday May 16, 2008 at Regency Place. She was born Nov 23, 1912 in Martinsville and was the daughter of the late Otto and Ocie Sawyer. She graduated from Van Buren HS in 1929. She married John R. Miller Sr on July 29, 1935 in Greencastle. He died Nov 9, 1988.  Mrs. Miller was a member of Clinton Falls Community Church and attended Buck Creek Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.  Surviving are two sons, John R. Miller (Wife: Patricia) of Lafayette and Richard Lee Miller (Wife: Beth) of Freeport, Mass; and two sisters, Dorothy Roberson of Indianapolis and Reba Clifton of Dover, Del.  Visitation 9-10 a.m. Wednesday with service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hippensteel Chapel, Rev. Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating. Interment Clinton Falls, Greencastle. Memorials to charity of donor’s choice. She is survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
