MILES, Edith - Putnam

Mrs. Edith Miles, age 46 of Amo died suddenly Friday of a heart ailment.  She leaves besides her husband, Robert, three boys and two daughter.  One son is in the US Army another in the US Navy.  For a long time Mrs. Miles has been librarian at Amo, handling books sent from the Coatesville Library.  She was a cheerful and efficient librarian and had many friends who will miss her counsel on books.  Her funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Weaver Funeral Home, and burial was at Stilesville.   -– kbz
