MEEK, Myrtle McCammack - Putnam

Mrs. Myrtle Meek, age 61 years, died sudden Wednesday morning at 1 o'clock at her home at 210 N Vine Street.  Death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage.  Mrs. Meek was born in Jefferson Township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Starling McCammack. She was a member of the Union Valley Church.Mrs. Meek has been employed at the Commercial Hotel for the last 25 years.  Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Donald Lear at whose home she died.  Mrs. Harry Uphaus of Indianapolis, one son, Clarence of Westphalia and one granddaughter, two grandsons, one sister, Mrs. Joe Cochenour of Cloverdale.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 from the Rector Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Reuben Masten. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. - kbz
