MAYHILL, Rebecca Galey Eads - Putnam

Rebecca Luella Mayhall, 73, died at the home of her son, Walter Eads, here Sunday Morning. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Chastain funeral home, burial was made in Ladoga cemetery. She was born in Montgomery County, the daughter of William and Mary Katherine Galey. She married December 6, 1883, to John H. Eads. She married second to Alexander S. Mayhall, September 28, 1893. Two sons; Walter J. Eads of this place and Ward D. Mayhall of Greencastle; two stepsons, William F. Mayhall of Indianapolis, and Dr. R. C. Mayhall of Edinburg; three granddaughters Mrs. Stanley Dickson, Indianapolis, Mrs. Ray Hanks of Bainbridge, and Miss Emily Lou Eads of Roachdale, one grandson, four step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren survive   --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker who so graciously donated her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated!!
