G. W. Mason Buried in Fillmore Today
The funeral of George W. Mason was held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Fillmore Christian Church. Rev. H. C. Clippinger, pastor of the Locust Street Church of this city had charge. Burial was in the Fillmore cemetery in charge of the Odd Fellows Lodge of which Mr. Mason was a member.
Mr. Mason's death occurred Saturday morning at the home near the Commercial Place. Death was due to heart trouble. He had been in ill health, however, for several months, and during the past week his condition became critical, death being expected at any time.
Mr. Mason was 47 years old and was employed as a mail clerk on the Big Four Railroad for a number of years.
Besides the widow, he leaves seven children: Cleon, Ralph, Maurice, Lucille, and Madonna at home, Mrs. Lawrence Hazelett of Niagara, N. Y. and Mrs. Charles Mills of Fairfield, Indiana.
