MARTIN, Donald Hubert - WWII - Putnam

Donald Hubert Martin, 86, Indianapolis passed away Nov 8, 2003. He was born Nov 20, 1916 in Putnam Co.  Mr. Martin retired from BP Amoco after 29 years of service in 1975 and went on to teach automotive mechanics at Ben Davis HS for several years.  He was a US Army veteran of WWII.  He was a member of Hope United Presbyterian Church in Plainfield. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Cruse Martin.  Survivors include sons Larry D. and Duane C. Martin; sister Wilma Cruse; brothers James and Oscar Martin, Jr; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.  Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday Nov 12 at Conkle Funeral Home Speedway Chapel, with calling from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday Nov 11. Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. – kbz
