Miss Mary M. Mahoney, 48, died Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at her home, 1722 Vinton St.  She had been ill two years. Born in Greencastle, she had been a resident of Lafayette for 42 years and 25 years was a clerk-stenographer in the mechanical department at Monon Shops. She was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral and Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks union.  Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Mary E. Mahoney with whom she made her home and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Pottlitzer of this city.
