MAHONEY, Edward Daniel - Putnam

Edward Daniel Mahoney, 76 of 916 North, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient one month.  He had been ill a year.  Born in Putnam County, he had spent most of his life in Lafayette.  In 1915 he was married to Miss Jess Mitchell, who died in 1933.  Mr. Mahoney had worked as a road contractor and was last employed as a room clerk by the Derby Hotel. He was a member of St. Mary Cathedral. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Hannah Cartwright of Lafayette. – kbz
