Died – Jan 29, 1888 in Amador City, California Dr. Thomas H. Mahan, aged 69 years. He removed with his family to California in 1855 and has been a successful practitioner there ever since leaving here. He was a brother of Col. JR Mahan of this city and leaves a wife and four sons and a host of friends to mourn his loss. --– kbz
