Mrs. William Lydick died Wednesday December 4 at her home east of Brownsvalley. She was the daughter of John and America Proctor Hicks and was born August 18, 1857. She married November 24, 1881 to William Lydick. Survivors are the husband, a son Claude. Burial was in Indian Creek Cemetery. --- kbz

Mrs. Catherine Lydick died at her home east of Browns Valley, Wednesday morning after 3 weeks illness. Funeral services at the home Friday afternoon will be in charge of Rev. Luke Bolin, pastor of the Christian Church with burial at Indian Creek Cemetery. She was the daughter of John and America Procter Hicks, born August 28, 1857. She married Mr. Lydick November 24, 1881. He survives but has been critically ill for several weeks. There is one son, Claude Lydick. -- kbz
